Madeline Milne

For those that are looking for a Realtor in Puerto Vallarta, I’m going to recommend Madeline Milne of MexHome and here’s why.

When the market is busy and there are lots of potential buyers, selling your house is easy, but when there are less buyers and the market is soft (I believe, that’s the expression), Madeline diversifies and goes beyond, to get clients through the door and help with the whole process, from start to completion. I did some research and googled best realtors in PV and I ended up originally going with a larger company, that apparently was rated #2 – #3 in PV, all good initially, but found the larger companies go in with builders/developers and sell multiple listings and me as one potential sale for them, was just getting looked over and after six month, I/we haven’t had to many showings and on open house days, found the larger companies, were happy to let in my neighbour,s to make the viewing numbers look better. Madeline has some great ideas, to do with areas of Mexico and why we/they should adventise there as well. Madeline also and I’m sure she won’t mind me mentioning this, but came and checked out the house, when we weren’t in the country, so kind of baby sat the house as well, so she 100% goes over and above and this is why, I would recommend her. I’m not a family member of hers or a best friend writing a recommendation, but definitely a thankful seller and yes after the process, she is also a friend too.

Consideró cuidadosamente cada aspecto de mi búsqueda y mis parámetros financieros para ofrecerme una amplia gama de opciones. Madeline tiene un profundo conocimiento de PV para expatriados por haber pasado allí gran parte de su vida (Madline es autora de la Guía Moon Travel de PV). Me dio una visión única e informada del potencial de cada propiedad a la que me llevó, desde la ubicación hasta la estructura, pasando por el coste y las ventajas de amueblarla o no, etc., etc. También me dio consejos realistas sobre reformas y mejoras. Madeline está muy versada en las complejidades y legalidades de la compra en México para compradores extranjeros y me guió paso a paso para que no hubiera sorpresas ocultas ni costes imprevistos, y siguió ayudándome después de la compra con el tipo de variables que surgen al instalarse. Me ayudó a encontrar el piso perfecto para mí en la zona de Versalles, y no podría estar más contenta con los resultados. Muy recomendable si estás pensando en comprar una nueva casa o una propiedad de inversión en Puerto Vallarta.

I had a great experience working with Madeline to purchase my condo in Puerto Vallarta in December 2024. Madeline has a deep understanding of PV for expats from having spent a big chunk of her life there (Madline authored the Moon Travel Guide to PV). She gave me unique and informed insights on the potential of each property she took me to, from location, to structure, to the cost vs. benefit of furnished or unfurnished, etc. etc. Great and realistic renovation/upgrade advice as well. Madeline is well versed in the complexities and legalities of purchasing in Mexico for foreign buyers and guided me through all of it step by step in an up-front way so there were no hidden surprises or unanticipated cost factors, and continued to assist after the purchase with the kinds of variables that come with settling in as well. She helped me find my way to the perfect condo for me in the Versalles area, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
