Hands down, the best way to start the night is to check out the sunset while sipping a refreshing cocktail. The four beach restaurants all offer fully stocked bars and great seating for uncompromised, pristine views. An easy way to get a taste of the laid-back San Pancho nightlife.
Checo’s
Located on Calle America Latina # 13. This is a fun sports bar that has food, and music and is a local favorite. With a surprisingly large number of menu options, our table was dominated by fish tacos, guacamole, and potato wedges. Off the beaten path, there is an abundance of deliciousness. Offering a full bar, televised sports events, and music, they are a definite favorite with their lively atmosphere that spills out to tables and chairs on the street. An insider tip: the best night to go is on Thursdays. They have a DJ who plays song after song so you dance this memorable San Pancho nightlife away.
Cervecería Artesanal San Pancho
Located on Calle America Latina #80. Cerveceria translates to English as a brewery and this is a fan favorite. Everyone from locals to visitors loves this spot. They offer a wide selection of delicious homemade craft beer, a full bar, and a pub-inspired menu that is bound to make your taste buds sing. With the majority of their seating on the street, the ambiance is unique. Often on the weekends, there is live music but if not, there are always street performers to watch while enjoying your food and drinks. Our favorites were craft beer, french fries, hummus, and burgers. Furthermore, they offer a different flavor profile in San Pancho and its nightlife. Their attention to detail shines through the complexities of the beer they brew and their thoughtful food preparation.
Ciye Hotel Bar
Located on Av. Tercer Mundo # 5. In contrast, this is the cutest and most upscale bar that the San Pancho nightlife has to offer. Set directly in the middle of the main drag, you are in the heart of town with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. There is seating inside or at tables on the sidewalk where you can soak up this small-town charm. Offering one of the town’s most comprehensive selections of spirits, wine, and beer, there is truly something for everyone. Certainly, we were impressed most with the cocktail menu that offered multiple options of original and refreshing tropical goodness. Above all, if you want to treat yourself, come check out this sweet spot in San Pancho at night. Be prepared to have a fun-filled night in a gorgeous bar. Here, the beach vibe is elevated to being simply luxurious.
Junglar San Pancho
Lastly, located on Av. Tercer Mundo #36. Centrally located a couple of blocks up from the beach, this eclectic atmosphere can make a fun night with live music and a fully stocked bar. Upon entering, the space opens up to a vast area that has two bars and is filled with tables. Being off the street, you feel like you have walked into a secluded jungle bar. Normally, on the weekends, it is packed and they have energetic live bands. That is to say, this is a fun spot to enjoy the vibe and have a great drink with locals. With every drink you can imagine, the options are endless as you sip the night away and experience a different side of San Pancho’s nightlife.
