Chacala Village
The village of Chacala is located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico in the upper section of the Riviera Nayarit. It is about one hour and forty-five minutes north of Puerto Vallarta and its International Airport.
This fishing village and up-and-coming tourist destination is blessed with a lovely white sandy beach cove. The beach is great for swimming and excellent fishing can be had off of the rocks at the end of the cove.
Chacala has a mini-marina with a boat ramp. Panga boats are available to ferry surfers out to the waves. Or, book a ride to a beautiful private sandy beach where you can lounge for a few hours and swim to your heart’s content. The Panga boat picks you up later and brings you back to the heart of the pueblo.
Surfing is huge in Chacala – surfers come from all over to catch a wave here. Many surfers claim that you just may have one of the best rides of your life in Chacala.

Behind the Marina lies Marina Chacala, a low-density development with fabulous waterfront mansions, beach club, tennis courst and other amenities. The community also boasts miles of hiking and bike trails throughout the development.
Behind the gated mansions are smaller homes and some vacation rentals. There are also places to rent in the old village. There are many different kinds of rentals throughout the village that will meet your all of your needs.
