All properties have seen phenomenal growth in their prices since the 1980s when Cabo San Lucas became a vacation destination. Cabo San Lucas real estate remains popular with Mexican nationals and snowbirds from the United States, Canada, Europe, and even Australia. Unable to resist the opportunity, developers are building numerous gated communities and investors are quickly buying them up.
Due to the city’s natural beauty, its proximity amenities like an international airport, easy shopping, and endless entertainment, this is a dream destination. Cabo San Lucas has seen the price of real estate continuing to rise. Whether you are looking for a vacation home, a condo, or a commercial investment, MexHome can help you find just the right property to suit your needs. We are experts in our knowledge of Mexican real estate, Cabo San Lucas, and its surrounding communities. Cabo San Lucas is located on the tip of Baja California. Claiming fame for being a luxurious vacation destination, you will feel at home in this tropical paradise. Home to an abundance of natural beauty formed between the oceans, beaches, and nature; this gem has it all. Here, the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean and leaves postcard-worthy backdrops. Rich with culture and surrounded by history, this once quaint small town has become a dynamic city. With its history being tied to Hernan Cortez in 1534, this city has undergone lots of change and transformed itself into an opulent place to live and visit. Now, Cabo is known for its beauty combined with 5-star amenities.
Cabo San Lucas is the ultimate hot spot because it has something for everyone no matter your tastes. There are endless opportunities to pamper yourself at luxurious properties with 5-star amenities. If you are looking for more, there are numerous beaches and water activities available. Watching the sunset at the iconic Arches of Cabo San Lucas to surfing, snorkeling scuba diving, and deep sea fishing, they have it all. Additionally, there are celebrity-designed golf courses, horseback riding on the sand, shopping, and an excellent culinary scene.
To date, this vacation destination has been gaining in popularity since the 1960s as a fishing spot and then in the late 1970s when the interstate was finished, easily connecting it to California. Since the 1980s, this small fishing village has progressed into a thriving city that is a tourist destination and well-known for its luxury and beauty. One of our favorite hot spots are the upscale Marina and Medano Beach areas because they are located back to back and there are multitudes of fun things to see, do, and eat.
The Medano beach area is a fantastic swimming beach, here you will find a normally packed beach that is on a tranquil bay and fun swimming for all ages. Additionally, this area is known for being filled with hotels and all-inclusive resorts. The quaint neighborhood of the Marina is set on the water and filled with houses, condos, apartments, hotels, restaurants, and shopping. This is a charming area that has reinvented itself from a more traditional working marina into offering docking for luxury yachts and almost every water activity imaginable. Our recommendation is to take a tour and experience Cabo’s unique water activities. Ranging from dolphin encounters to parasailing, diving, whale watching, and more. We liked Cabo Dolphins and Cabo Expeditions. Both offered lots of great tour options with professional, friendly staff.
When it comes to the local cuisine, fresh seafood is highlighted along with many other delicious national and international options. Our recommendation is to walk down the Marina Golden Zone and check out their diverse and unique restaurant selection. There are six amazing places to choose from and all are delicious! There are Jacks Bar & Grill (offers an international menu), the Sandwich Factory, Golden Legends Sports Bar, Los Deseos (Mexican Cuisine), Presto (has a Mediterranean menu), and Baja Lobster Company (which specializes in seafood). With something for everyone on the water, this is always a winning dining experience.
Shopping is vast and easily accessible in Cabo at the Marina and Beach area. It is a funky blend of high-end luxury and normal day-to-day shopping. There is everything from groceries to liquor and clothing boutiques in the Marina area. This eclectic high-end mix has wonderful staples like the California Ranch Market. For more shopping continue to Plaza Puerto Paraiso and Luxury Avenue. They carry lots of designer and high-end clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories and art. In contrast, heading over to Medano Beach is one of the best neighborhoods to buy all your Mexican vacation mementos. We recommend heading to the beach, hanging out there, and taking advantage of all the beach and street vendors as they pass by with their goodies for sale.
