Mayto beach is huge. One of the last unspoiled beaches on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. It is hard to take it all in with one look. This area of the Costalegre of Mexico is simply amazing. We were surprised when we first discovered it. Some of the older posts continue to be favorites, so check them out. Early morning is a great time to walk the beach and see what the tide may have washed up.

Barefoot on the beach, magical sunsets and moonsets, and endless beach. Mayto beach and the Costalegre of Mexico… a paradise to be discovered.

This area of Cabo Corrientes on the Pacific Coast of Mexico is simply amazing. We have mixed feelings about telling people about the area. It is however, being discovered and now is the time to see it. Starting at El Tuito the drive through the mountains is refreshing on the way to Mayto.

The fishing village of Tehuamixtle is just a short ten minute drive further south. We will post items and photos along the way, as we continue our projects.

Summer brings refreshing rains, amazing skies and magical sunsets along the south coast of Jalisco. Driving south of Vallarta to the town of El Tuito and then to the Mayto Beach area is well worth the trip. The south of the state of Jalisco is a treasure of beautiful beaches waiting to be discovered.
